Sales Development Representative

Job description

Staffbase is an internationally operating technology startup that transforms the way companies communicate with their people through the world’s first employee experience platform. We’ve been growing fast since 2014 and push hard to generate a steady stream of sales opportunities that keeps the journey going. As a Sales Development Representative, you fuel our sales machine through outbound prospecting and following up on marketing sourced leads.

 

Your tasks include:

  • Proactively reach out to selected prospects by phone or e-mail

  • Qualify leads that get in touch with us through downloadable content, demo requests, webinar sign-ups, and more

  • Take care of our website visitors and respond to their chat messages

  • With your passion for our product, provide leads with valuable information, great content and the feeling of having the right contact person for initial queries

  • Set up follow-up appointments and calls with our Account Executives

  • Work closely together with our sales and marketing executives to drive pipeline in a sustainable and predictable way

Requirements

  • You have a strong interest in sales, customer service or similar communication-intensive positions (experience in the B2B sector is a plus)
  • You love rolling up your sleeves to inspire our leads and give them a strong impression of Staffbase

  • You show great curiosity about software products and you are comfortable working with them

  • You are a team player and celebrate the success of your Staffbase fellows as much as your own

  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to solve problems by thinking analytically and creatively

  • You can express yourself effectively on the phone and by e-mail, in German and English
