Your tasks include:

  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
  • Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
  • Observing, diagnosing and resolving problems in high-throughput web applications and network services.
  • Building a platform to deliver value and performance constantly

Every employee has a yearly budget of 1,000€ + 1 work day for a personal development event of your choice (attending a conference, taking an online course, hosting a hackathon, etc.) or a 1,800€ budget to work from our New York office for a couple of days/weeks.   • Deep understanding of Linux systems.
  • Practical knowledge of shell scripting
  • Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack - hardware, software, application and network
  • Expertise in monitoring and observing distributed systems application architectures. (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Solid communication skills with team members near and far.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with container management and microservices architectures
  • Familiarity with configuration management (Salt, Puppet, Chef, Capistrano, etc)
