The role:

As our Internal IT Manager, you will report directly to our Chief Information Security Officer.our goal is to develop and improve our Internal IT Management for Staffbase and our global offices. In this exciting and diverse role, you will take care of all SaaS tools, hardware, and software running at Staffbase and make sure everything runs smoothly and secure. We are looking for someone who has a hands-on approach in day-to-day work, enjoys a fast pace and enjoys daily interactions with a lot of people.


This is a permanent full-time position and needs to be based in Chemnitz.


Your tasks include:

  • Initial hardware and software setup/maintenance for new employees (Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android)

  • Manage software installation/updates

  • Installation and configuration of network infrastructure

  • SaaS lifecycle management

  • Deploying and integrating new SaaS solutions into Staffbase’ IT landscape

  • Develop and establish disaster recovery plans as well as documentation concepts for internal IT

  • Work with local IT suppliers

  • Provide first-level-support for internal IT incidents (hardware and software)

  • Support our information security team (ISMS towards ISO 27001)


  • Basic knowledge of Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android administration
  • Experience in configuration and maintenance of computer networks
  • Basic knowledge in enterprise SaaS tools and SSO
  • Ability to self organize and structure work
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Good communication skills in German and English
  • As a plus: Experience with an ISMS based on ISO 27001 or BSI IT Grundschutz (IT baseline protection)
