We are looking for a new member of the Product Marketing Team, focusing on the employee app, which stands at the heart of Staffbase. In this role, you will be a partner to the marketing, sales, and product organizations, working closely to define product messaging and positioning for our employee app. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to become well-versed in the technical aspects of your product and its market, as well as be creative in positioning technology through stories that are compelling to our target audience.


Your tasks include:

 

  • Work with the product team to learn about the employee app feature roadmap, respective use cases, and benefits for our target audience
  • Conduct in-depth market and consumer research
  • Create overviews and training materials based on research findings to optimize the communication of our messaging and positioning 
  • Help co-create and update product messaging
  • Use knowledge of product offerings to keep profiles on software review websites up-to-date and position our products advantageously

 

Requirements

  • Curiosity about how technology works and why it does what it does
  • Very strong spoken and written English and German language skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (i.e. CS), or in social sciences, or relevant work experience in marketing 
  • Proven strong writing skills and ability to tell engaging stories
  • Motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work independently
  • Comfort working in a cross-departmental role requiring you to communicate often and well with others, as well as thrive in a highly distributed team
