Scrum Master (m/f)

Job description

Staffbase is the world's first employee experience platform. We work with customers like Adidas, Hilton, and Audi to engage their diverse and distributed workforces.

Staffbase is an enterprise SaaS platform that helps HR and Communication leaders to transform their organizations into places where people feel connected and proud to come to work. Staffbase is the first Employee Experience Platform to let employers and employees connect authentically, right through their mobile phone.

We’re headquartered in Chemnitz Germany and we work in offices in Dresden, Cologne, Amsterdam and New York. Our international team just crossed 100 happy employees and we have a rapidly growing base of customers that want to transform their employee experience. We’re 3 years old, we have strong-growing revenue, and our customers love us.

As a QA Engineer you will be embedded within one of our Scrum teams and work within a two week sprint rhythm. You will be involved both with manual testing as well as driving the level of our automated testing based on Selenium as well as Appium. This will demand a conscientious, structured and reliable style of working so that your team can rely on you.

Next to merely being involved in everyday feature and release testing, you will also drive the discussion and continuous improvement of both the automated testing as well as our testing processes. The goal is to get a maximum of quality within a very short time. Therefore, writing and maintaining both manual and automated test cases should be as easy as possible.

For achieving that, it is vital that you actively engage in cross-team meetings as well as staying on top of the industry trends in terms of the technologies we use and Agile testing best practices in general. With all your experience in the testing space, you are also asked to mentor more Junior members of our teams.

We offer free coffee/tea/cold drinks and host frequent social events, and once a week we provide a free communal lunch. Every employee has a yearly budget of 1,000€ + 1 work day for a personal development event of your choice (attending a conference, taking an online course, hosting a hackathon, etc.) or a 1,800€ budget to work from our New York office for a couple of days/weeks. Your package also includes a laptop of your choice and an external monitor.

We look forward to receiving your application either in German or English.
