Social Media Manager

Job description

We are looking for a social media specialist that understands the difference between networks like LinkedIn, Twitter, XING or Facebook and knows how engaging multimedia content can be used in marketing and public relations.  You will support a variety of projects such as the content creation and curation for all Staffbase social media channels, monitoring and concisely communicating with target audiences as well as tracking and monitoring the success of social media initiatives.

 

First of all: You can’t live without social media. One of the first apps you open after waking up is Instagram or Twitter and you know how to handle each network. You have a vast knowledge of ins and outs of all relevant platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, XING, YouTube) and you are deeply curious about every new network that suddenly appears. You have already collected experience in copywriting, social media performance campaigns (mainly Facebook and LinkedIn) and also with photo and/or video editing within a social context. 

You’re a team player and you’re good at working and communicating with everybody, whether they’re designers, developers, content writers, etc. It’s a long list. People say you are curios and empathetic.

Your tasks include:

  • Create monthly content calendars and collaborate with content writers or other team members in the development of posts and other social media content.

  • Set up social media campaigns (mainly LinkedIn and Facebook) for our B2B audiences to generate leads and new business contacts for Staffbase.

  • Listen, understand and interpret trends and link them to business strategies.

  • Work closely with graphic designer to execute social media creative needs.

  • Monitoring of competitors and trends.

  • Evaluate the success of social media initiatives.
